Twisted Fish announce joint venture with Wastedge.com

Twisted Fish have today announced a UK wide partnership with Wastedge.com, part of ASP Software, to deliver cutting edge web based solutions to the UK waste management industry.

The joint venture to be called Wastedge.co.uk, will see Twisted Fish providing local sales and support services to UK based customers in the small to medium sized waste management business for the mature web, mobile and in-cab solutions developed by ASP software in Australia and already in extensive use around the world.

"Wastedge is an ideal extension of our existing product range to complement our enterprise level ECHO service management framework" commented Matt Brookes, Managing Director of Twisted Fish. "It provides a simple, reliable, and installation free software solution to small and medium skip hire services and other collection focused waste management businesses. The software-as-a-service model means that there is no large upfront capital cost and you can even try it out with your own data for free.

Asked about how the deal came to pass, Matt explained "We recently carried out an industry wide search for the best of breed product in this category on behalf of a customer and the leader by far was Wastedge.com from Australia. But without local representation it was a risky proposition so the obvious solution was to represent it ourselves. We are very excited about the association and know that this product is without peer in the UK market."

Wastedge integrates seamlessly with mapping, and mobile technology making it easy to see where your jobs, bin and customers are. Process automation streamlines bookings pricing, dispatch, real-time job confirmations and run data capture from GPS info through to invoicing and improves customer service through 24x7 self service account inquiries.

Wastedge.co.uk is launching officially on stand 1821 at the RWM Exhibition in Birmingham on the 15th September 2009. For further information see www.wastedge.co.uk or call 0845 077 0050.
